Actosed PA Powder

Actosed ® PA Powder is a highly effective powder disinfectant containing peracetic acid and is used for the disinfection of medical instruments and endoscopes. It shows optimal efficiency with short contact times and ensures safe use. Due to its high cleaning power, it can be used for pre-cleaning and disinfection of medical instruments with all types of contamination.

Actosed ® PA Powder is a product suitable for daily use. The minimum effective concentration (MEC) should be checked using test strips throughout the entire period of use. When Actosed Pa powder is dissolved in water, a concentration-to-quantity ratio of the product is created.

Chemical composition

100 g contains: 50 g sodium percarbonate, 30 g TAED, corrosion inhibitors and excipients

Instructions for use

Pour tap water into the disinfection tray, add Actosed ® PA Powder depending on the amount of water and mix until a blue color is visible. This produces peracetic acid. The recommended concentration to be used is 1.62% (16.2 g of Actosed® PA powder per 1 liter of water). Before using on endoscopes, make sure that the powder is completely dissolved. Disassemble the instruments and place them in the working solution for 5-10 minutes. Make sure that all surfaces and cavities are completely covered. After disinfection, wash the instruments from the solution, rinse thoroughly with water and let them dry. The prepared working solution is effective for up to 24 hours. Then it should be renewed.
