Blood Type Tests
Blood group testing should be performed before blood transfusion to check the blood type of the vaginal woman. A person's blood is indicated by markers (called antigens) on the surface of red blood cells. Blood type tests can also be done to determine whether two people are related by blood.
The most important antigens are blood group antigens (ABO) and Rh antigen, either present (positive, +) or absent (negative, -). Well, the two most common blood type tests are the ABO and Rh test.
ABO test
The ABO test shows that people have one of four blood types: A, B, AB or O. How your red blood cells are:
Antigen A.
What is your blood type? Rarely, some of your blood (plasma) contains antibodies that attack type B blood. Approximately 42 out of 100 Canadians have blood type A, with 6 people having A-negative (A-) blood and 36 having A-positive blood (A+).
Antigen B.
You have blood type B. Your plasma has antibodies that attack type A blood. Approximately 9 in 100 people in Canada have blood type B, with 1 person having B-negative (B-) blood and 8 having B-positive (B+) blood.
Neither antigen A nor B.
You have blood type O. Your plasma has antibodies that attack both type A and type B blood. Approximately 46 out of 100 people in Canada have blood type O, with 7 people having O-negative (O-) blood and 39 Mayut O-positive (O+) blood.
I antigens A, I B.
Your blood type is AB. Your plasma does not have antibodies against blood type A or B. Approximately 3 in 100 people in Canada have blood type AB, with less than 1 person having AB-negative (AB-) blood and about 3 having AB-positive (AB+) blood. .
Blood, taken away at the hour of transfusion, is to blame for the mother’s own antigens, which is yours (suicide blood). If you receive transfusions to replace different antigens (bad blood), the antibodies in your plasma will deplete the cells of the donor blood. This is called a transfusion reaction, and it occurs after the transfusion of abnormal blood. The reaction to the transfusion can be mild or cause serious illness and death.
O-negative blood does not remove antigens. He is called the “universal donor” type, because he is incompetent with any blood group. Blood type AB-positive is called the “universal recipient” type, which means that people can give birth to either type. Although "universal donor" and "universal recipient" types can be used to classify blood in emergency situations, blood type tests are always performed to monitor transfusion reactions.
Minor antigens (A, B and Rh) that reside in red blood cells can also cause problems. Therefore, they are also checked for safety before blood transfusions.
Serious reactions to blood transfusions today are rare through blood group analysis.
Rh test
The Rh blood type checks the Rh antigen (also called the Rh factor) on red blood cells.
You have the Rh antigen, your blood is Rh positive.
You do not have the Rh antigen, you are Rh negative.
For example, if you have A and Rh antigens, your blood type is A-positive (A+).
The Rh blood type is even more important for pregnant women. The Rh-positive child mixes with the blood of the Rh-negative mother, and the mother’s immune system vibrates antibodies. This antibody reaction is called Rh sensitization and, when it occurs, can destroy the baby's red blood cells.
Rh sensitization does not affect a healthy child during pregnancy, at which time sensitization occurs. Problems will develop from mild to serious (so called Rhesus disease or fetal erythroblastosis). Rhesus disease is not to be taken lightly, the child could die
A Rh test is carried out at early stages of gestation to determine the woman’s blood type. moreover, as there is a breakdown of Rh-immunoglobulin.
Why is it broken up?
Blood type testing is carried out:
Before blood transfusions.
If a woman plans to get pregnant or get pregnant first.
Before that, how to provide shelter.
Before surgery.
Before that, how can people submit an organ for transplantation?
Show how two people can be blood relatives.
To verify an individual suspected of committing a crime.
Prepare yak
You do not need to do anything before this test.
How to hesitate
The medical practitioner will take a sample of your blood.
How does it feel
By the time the blood is drawn, you may not get anything out of your head. Or you may feel a quick prick or pinch.
Riziki
This father-in-law has very little chance of having problems with his mother. By the time the blood is drawn, a slight bruise may appear on the area.
Results
Blood group testing should be performed before blood transfusion to check the blood type of the vaginal woman. The following table shows the combination of blood groups of donors and recipients.
Read the table in order: A person with A-negative blood can choose A-negative or O-negative blood.
Blood types that go together
The person who may: You can omit:
A - blood A-, O- blood
A+ blood A-, A+, O-, O+ blood
B - blood B-, O- blood
B+ blood B-, B+, O-, O+ blood
AB - blood AB-, O- blood
AB+ blood AB-, AB+, A-, A+, B-, B+, O-, O+ blood
O-blood O-blood
O+ blood O-, O+ blood
Minor antigens (including A, B and Rh) in red blood cells are also checked for their type before blood transfusions.
